I am grateful for the testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals, for I have been healed and encouraged by them many times.

On August 31, 1940, a testimony of mine appeared in the Sentinel, and I should like to tell more about the healing of an eye condition mentioned in that testimony. I stated that I had removed my glasses, but neglected to say that one of my eyes was crossed at birth. When I went to a practitioner, I did not dream my eyes would straighten. Several months later they did just that! I was grateful that I had proved Mrs. Eddy's statement in Science and Health (p. 492), "Being is holiness, harmony, immortality."

I was healed of a great sense of lack by learning that substance is spiritual and by gratefully giving of what I had. More and more, spiritual truths are unfolding to me, and as I perfect my concept, my brother too is blessed. I am deeply grateful for the many activities of Christian Science, which are reaching out to heal all mankind.— (Miss) Grace Merle Blacker, Columbus, Ohio.
