The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, announces a free public lecture on Christian Science by Sim Andrew Kolliner, C. S. B., a member of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship, in the Church Edifice, Falmouth, Norway, and St. Paul Streets, on Thursday, September 16, 1948, at 7.45 o'clock. The public is cordially invited. This lecture will be published in The Christian Science Monitor of September 17.

The interviewing of applicants for membership in Churches of Christ, Scientist, is immensely important. The committees entrusted with this work should be composed of wise and loving Christian Scientists. Every effort should be made to help applicants feel at case, and only such questions as are basically important should be asked. The interview should be a happy and a helpful experience for both the applicant and the committee.
