It is with sincere gratitude and love for Christian Science and for the many blessings I have received through the study and application of the truth that I write this testimony.

Mary Baker Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (pp. 380, 381), "Every law of matter or the body, supposed to govern man, is rendered null and void by the law of Life, God." This was proved to me at a time when my year-and-a-half-old niece fell from a second-story window onto a cement driveway. Her brother, who was playing on the driveway, picked her up and brought her into the house. The first sight of her was most terrifying. I immediately called a practitioner, and her reply to me was, "A spiritual idea has no weight." It seemed advisable to take the child to the practitioner's home, for there was considerable fear expressed by those around. We had to drive about ten miles, and during the trip we sang hymns and repeated the Lord's Prayer and the twenty-third Psalm, which helped to allay our fear. The healing was complete within two weeks. I am thankful to the practitioner who helped us during this testing time.

I have had many healings, such as those of ear trouble of long standing, ptomaine poisoning, and extreme nervousness.
