HUMILITY
A single
sunbeam
As a thing apart
Could show no light.
The sun gives all—
Provides each glowing beam
With its pervading warmth,
Its radiant might.
A human concept,
Flesh-born mortal man,
Holds no real place.
God governs all—
Endows His own idea, man,
With His immortal qualities,
His reflected grace.
