The Ojai

Ojai, California (Society).

The members of Christian Science Society, Ojai, located at Oak and Blanche Streets, held dedication services on Sunday, February 1, 1948, in the morning and evening.

The Ojai society began in the summer of 1932, when two students of Christian Science began meeting together once each week to read the weekly Lesson-Sermon. While no effort was made to publicize these meetings, from time to time others asked to join, and soon there was a fairly large group in regular attendance.
