I am grateful to God for Christian Science and for what it has done for me, also for the practitioners and friends who have helped me along the way.

I have been "through the valley of the shadow of death." I had not been able to walk for five years. Friends and relatives insisted that I have an examination by a physician, so I went to the hospital for three days. The doctors, who took X rays and made various tests, said that I had a very rare bone disease and that there was not a thing they could do for me. So I went home and relied solely on Christian Science. I stayed very close to the Bible and the writings of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. The pain had been so severe that I had to be lifted from my bed to a chair. As I grew stronger, I was able to sit up a little longer each day. Soon I was able to use crutches, then a cane. Finally I had to learn how to walk all over again, like a child.

If it were not for Christian Science, I should not be here today to give this testimony. My healing is now complete, for which I am very grateful. I am now working and am able to attend the lectures and the church services.—(Miss) Esther Neitzel, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
