It is with a grateful heart that I send this testimony. Over two years ago a distressing condition of eczema manifested itself on my body. Help was requested from a practitioner, and much loving work was done. One day the practitioner read this verse from the Bible (Ezra 10:4): "Arise; for this matter belongeth unto thee: we also will be with thee: be of good courage, and do it." The practitioner said she could do her work and help, but she asked if I were truly doing all I could. At the time the fact that I had something to do seemed a hard lesson to learn.

Thanks be to God, the unfoldment and healing came. After this I had the privilege of spending some time at a rest home for Christian Scientists. Words can never tell of the growth that came to me. The attendants, the nurse, and the practitioner were all very loving and ready to help. This statement from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy was studied (p. 467): "Science reveals Spirit, Soul, as not in the body, and God as not in man but as reflected by man. The greater cannot be in the lesser. The belief that the greater can be in the lesser is an error that works ill. This is a leading point in the Science of Soul, that Principle is not in its idea. Spirit, Soul, is not confined in man, and is never in matter."

Other healings for which I am grateful are those of an inferiority complex and of taking God's name in vain. The purifying of thought that came with the latter healing is beyond words to express. I am truly grateful for the overcoming of a tendency to lose my temper and for protection from and healing of many children's diseases.
