THY WAY
Teach
me to love Thy way, O Lord,
The way of Life so free
That every habit, every urge,
And every tendency
May lead away from mortal sense
To immortality.
Teach me to love Thy way, O Lord,
The way of Truth so sure
That every hour of every day
May prove each motive pure
And may through demonstration lead
To that which shall endure.
Teach me to love Thy way, O Lord,
Love's gracious way enshrine
Within my consciousness, unfold
Perfection of design.
And let me see Thine image thus
Has loveliness divine.
