THE FEEBLEST STEP
I thank
Thee, Father, that the feeblest step
Toward Thee is guided, strengthened by Thy hand;
The humblest cry for Truth is satisfied,
The water turned to wine at Thy command.
I thank Thee that the human dream becomes
Less real as good is seen to be Thy plan.
And angels guard the eager seeking thought
Till being is revealed as God and man.
