This testimony is surely an overflowing of the heart, for each day brings a more abundant realization of God's love and provision for His children. My gratitude to God is unceasing.

I became interested in Christian Science after my husband turned to it for healing when the medical profession had pronounced his case incurable. He had suffered from what was termed bronchial asthma since he was a very small child, and nothing had been found to protect him from almost constant attacks. Every known specialist had been consulted and every new form of treatment had been applied, but the verdict of complete incurability was finally handed down.

In this threat extremity, however, he remembered a few months he had spent on a ranch in the Southwest some years before, where he had been given the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. At that time he had read it through and had experienced great improvement, gaining much-needed weight and the fullest sense of health he had ever enjoyed; but upon his return East he had laid it aside, finding it easier to credit the climate and change than Christian Science. There was much antagonism expressed at that time in his family toward what they mistakenly viewed as Christian Science.
