EASTER

Behold this glowing day, all you who weep.
Reject your sorrows, cast aside your pain,
Discard the dreams of troubled, mortal sleep.
Behold the risen power of Truth again.

Come forth, and leave your self-constructed tomb.
Man cannot dwell within the shade of night.
Beneath a sense-born cloud of fear and gloom.
Come forth, as witnesses of Life and light!

Our Master proved the potency of prayer.
Accept his teachings. Know that man is one
With God, whose loving presence everywhere
Was evidenced by His beloved Son.

Come, follow faithfully along the way,
And find each dawn a resurrection day.
