I wish to express my sincere...

I wish to express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science and for all that it has done for me. One Christmas night the Christ was born again to my thought. I met a Christian Scientist, who gave me Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy to read. I was hungry for Christian Science, and from then on it has met all of my needs. My first physical healing was an instantaneous one of indigestion while I was attending my first lecture. I have been healed of sprained ankles, and constipation was overcome when I decided to rely on God alone. On one occasion when it was my duty to serve as an usher, I woke in the morning with all the symptoms of influenza, but Mrs. Eddy's words came to my thought (Science and Health, p. 385), "Whatever it is your duty to do, you can do without harm to yourself." After I had been at church for a short time, I was healed.

I am deeply grateful for class instruction, for through it I was healed of the fear of death. When a relative told me that my father had passed away, I was on duty at church as an usher. I was grateful to know that there is no death. I did not have any sense of shock or loss but through this experience felt uplifted. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for the many blessings and healings received through studying our dear Leader's writings. My desire is to help in bringing it to others. I thank God for Christian Science. —(Mrs.) Elsie Gallier, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.
