Rising

What do I know of God
To hold in thought today,
That I may see all good
Unfold upon my way?

I know that God is Mind,
Intelligence divine!
And all that Mind can know
Is, by reflection, mine.

I know that God is Truth.
Whose power can never cease;
That as I do His will
Nought can assail my peace.

I know that God is Life,
Eternal, source of all!
And so, reflecting Him,
I cannot faint or fall.

And God I know is Love,
Forever by my side.
From Love's abundant store
Is every need supplied.
