In a recent issue of the Evening News is a reprint of an article from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch under the heading "Christian Science and Health," which so misstates objections which Christian Scientists have to the Wagner-Murray-Dingell Bill that I shall appreciate space in which to clarify our position. The reporter who wrote the article has evidently missed the points brought out by Dr. Arthur J. Todd in his prepared statement on the Christian Science churches to the Senate Committee on Education and Labor.

Quoting direct from Dr. Todd's statement: "This bill has a monopolistic angle that is not in keeping with American tradition of anti-trust and equal freedom for all. Why should one form or branch of the healing art be set up exclusively as the remedy which people must accept and for which they must pay taxes?
