Because I have received so much good from the testimonies of healing in The Christian Science Journal and the Sentinel, I should like to extend my cup of cold water to anyone who may be thirsting after the truth.

For over thirty years I suffered from stomach trouble and spent hundreds of dollars in searching for a cure, but found none. I began the study of Christian Science, and before I had finished reading the chapter on Prayer in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I knew I was healed. All those years I thought I could not eat this or that, but in Christian Science I have learned the truth of Jesus' words, "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth."

At the same time I was healed of smoking. I had smoked for about fifteen years and had often tried to quit by will power, but always went back to it again. I found when I became a student of Christian Science that I did not have to quit smoking; the habit simply left me, and I have had no desire to smoke for over seven years. I have also been healed of burns, bruises, ingrowing toenails, corns, and many other minor ailments, as well as being greatly helped to overcome an unlovely disposition, jealousy, and envy.
