"Fellowship one with another"
The Rev. James Reid, D.D. British Weekly, London, England
"God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. ... If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ ... cleanseth us from all sin" (I John 1:5,7). ...
It is true that the fellowship of which John speaks is on a higher plane than that to which most people aspire. It is the Christian order of fellowship in which every dividing thing in us is submerged and overcome by the love of God, and we are at one because we are one in Him. We shall never know what real fellowship means till that has happened.
