Sunlight
At certain seasons of the year there come from many parts of the world invitations to the public to visit particular regions and enjoy the warm sunshine, the flowers, and the fruit of some favored clime And very pleasant indeed it is sometimes to accept this invitation and enjoy the promised hospitality.
However, there is a sunlight above and beyond all this which the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, assures us "invigorates and purifies." Her reassuring statement found on page 162 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," reads as follows: "Christian Science brings to the body the sunlight of Truth, which invigorates and purifies." The rest of that remarkable page tells of the effects of this sunlight on the body and is well worth everyone's careful study.
Now it is comforting to know that one does not need to go to a different climate to find the sunlight of Truth and experience its benefits. It is the ever-present, ever-shining spiritual truth of being to be found and enjoyed as one's own individual reflection of God, Truth. This is the light of Spirit which shines in the darkness and the darkness comprehends it not.
