"THE REVERSE OF ERROR IS TRUE"

Christ Jesus proved by his spiritual understanding that the man of God's creating can never be separated from God, good. As the dark picture of death was dispelled by the light of Jesus' understanding of Life, Lazarus was raised from the dead, and the grave was turned into a place of freedom and glorious victory.

There was no discouraging situation for the master Christian, who everywhere dispelled gloom and discouragement as he went about his Father's business, healing the sick and sorrowing and raising the dead. He knew God to be unchangeable good, in whom there "is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." He knew that the man of God's creating can suffer no loss, lack, sickness, discouragement, or so-called misfortune, because he is created in the image and likeness of God and is therefore as unchangeable as the Father, remaining forever complete, perfect, joyous, and free.

Our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, gives us in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and her other writings rules where we may learn to emulate the wonderful works of the Master. A thorough study of these rules with the honest desire to put them into practice confers the spiritual understanding whereby we may prove for ourselves that good cannot be changed or removed and that man, as God's perfect child, created in His likeness, is not subject to disease, loss, lack, poverty, accident, or misfortune of any kind.
