Finding suitable words to describe...

Finding suitable words to describe the many blessings that have come to me through Christian Science is indeed difficult. I enjoy good health, even though I do not concern myself with the so-called laws of hygiene. I am grateful to know that the "word of God is quick, and powerful" (Hebr. 4:12) and to testify that whenever I have relied completely on Truth, healing has resulted.

The truth about man has also been demonstrated for members of my family. Through the help of practitioners and the study of the works of Mrs. Eddy we have proved the unreality of burns from scalding water and the nothingness of hemorrhoids which developed into a condition feared to be cancer. Anemia, indigestion, and physical evidence of contagion have all been overcome by the omnipotence of Spirit. On more than one occasion it has been proved that "under divine Providence there can be no accidents, since there is no room for imperfection in perfection" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 424).

War work compelled me to dwell many miles from my family for several months, yet I can testify to spiritual growth during that period. The separation led to my making a more profound study of Principle, which was followed by membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. Shortly after I had taken these steps, a beautiful demonstration of home and supply was made. I was reunited with my wife and children. I was also accorded the glorious privilege of class instruction.
