In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures"...
In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy we read (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."
When Christian Science was first brought to my attention by a friend, my need for physical healing was great. I was suffering from a nervous breakdown, had been in two hospitals, and several doctors had worked conscientiously but vainly to help me. My mother was finally asked to remove me to our home, because there was nothing more the doctors could do.
On reaching home I asked the family to call a Christian Science practitioner. One was called, and, although on her first visit I was too ill to know what she said, she expressed so much love and kindness that I wished to turn absolutely to Science for healing.
