I am thankful to God for giving us the Bible, and grateful for Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.

As a child, I was sent to the Christian Science Sunday School. The foundation of right ideas gained there has been my protection from acquiring wrong habits such as swearing, smoking, and alcoholic drinking.

During several of my high school years, attendance at Sunday School was interrupted, and my consciousness became so full of various fears and lack of understanding human existence that I turned again to attending the Christian Science Sunday School and church services. I began in earnest to study the textbooks, the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Since then, most of these fears and misunderstandings have been replaced by true concepts of God and the perfect man and universe that He has created. Thus I have experienced a great increase of joy, contentment, and happiness.
