Never Too Late
"It's too late," said a woman to herself, "too late to be healed of this now." Yet even as she spoke she knew deep within herself that it was not too late, that it is never too late for good, that God is good and nothing is impossible with God.
For half a dozen years or more there had been a growth on her body, a small but ugly growth which as time passed she had come to accept as belonging to her. Now through her study of Christian Science and her growing understanding of the omnipotence and omnipresence of God she was beginning to realize that such a condition was no part of her true being, for it had no actuality in the presence of God.
One day, someone very near and dear to her asked her for help in Christian Science. This friend, through illness and sorrow, had lost her faith in God and had come to doubt His existence, or to believe that if there was a God, He was too far away to be of any comfort or help to her. Humbly the Christian Scientist prayed for spiritual understanding, prayed that her light might so shine with the radiance of Truth that this friend's way would be lighted and blessed.
