Jerome, Idaho (Society).

Christian Science Society, Jerome, dedicated its church building on Sunday morning, June 5. 1945. A short history of the society was read during the service.

A small group of Christian Scientists first met in a building owned by J. M. Hale on Main Street, and in January, 1915, the group of students rented the J. P. Ridge way Building for services. At this time a Sunday school was organized, a Reading Room opened, and a building fund started.

On Thursday morning, September 25. 1919. on the corner of Elm Street and B Avenue, stakes were driven for the excavation of the new church, and the actual work was started on Saturday morning, September 27, 1919.

Members of the society held their first services in the new church building on Sunday, September 12, 1920.
