Prayer of a Little Child
When
I go to bed at night,
And I am left without a light,
I think of Love.
For Love, I know, is ever near
To chase away all thoughts of fear,
And keep me safe.
Father-Mother God, whose might
Has turned the darkness into light
And made me see,
Help me throughout the coming day
To think and talk the loving way,
As Thy dear child.
