One night while stationed in an Army camp I became so ill that I could not recall the name of or how to locate the Christian Science Wartime Minister or another officer who I knew was a Scientist. However, a part of a verse in the Bible helped me a great deal, becoming the basis of the healing that followed. It was (Matt. 17:20), "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."

Asking myself if I had faith, I was able to answer in the affirmative. I knew that God could remove from my experience whatever needed to be removed. The next morning I arose at reveille, but for physical reasons reported to the company doctor, who ordered me to the hospital. It was decided to take an X ray, and I asked the doctor if I could be confined to my regular quarters while the X-ray films were being developed. He granted permission, and during this interval I studied the current week's Lesson-Sermon and pondered and prayed over the Biblical verse quoted above. By three o'clock the same afternoon the cause of the trouble, a kidney stone, was removed.

I reported back to the company doctor, who said that I was "a very lucky chap." I was a very grateful one, because it was another proof to me of the healing efficacy of true prayer, of which I have learned in Christian Science.— Wilfred C. Lock, San Francisco, California.
