Church Dedications

The Westwood News

Westwood, New Jersey (First Church).

First Church of Christ, Scientist, Westwood, dedicated the building in which its services have been held since 1937.

In the spring of 1926 a small group of students of Christian Science, main' of whom were members of The Mother Church, began to hold informal services in their various homes. The need for increased space was soon apparent, and beginning on May 12 of that year Veterans Hall on Fairview Avenue in Westwood was used.
