Gratitude to God for leading...
Gratitude to God for leading me to study Christian Science, and for the enjoyment of its boundless blessings for more than twenty-five years, impels me to testify that the truth heals when lived and practiced in accordance with the teachings in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
When first told of Christian Science I was not in need of physical healing, but I was deeply impressed with the idea of trusting God to heal sickness. At once I began to read Science and Health.
Some time later our very young son fell against a radiator and burned his ear. It healed and looked normal, but after a time an unsightly scar appeared on the rim of the ear. A specialist said the burn had affected the cartilage and that the enlarged part would have to be decomposed by electric treatments. I then took the child to a Christian Science practitioner. The ear became normal, and the healing was permanent.
