Christian Science has done so much for me that I must endeavor to put my gratitude into words. I am grateful to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has lovingly given to this age the essence of true Christianity. For class instruction, for the ever-loving help and support of practitioners, whose consecrated lives enable them to reflect the healing truth, for the periodicals, and for the weekly Lesson-Sermon, I am also very grateful.

When faithfully applied, Christian Science has overcome every difficulty that has arisen: colds and coughs have been healed instantaneously; sorrow at the passing on of a loved one was most beautifully met; and a new home was found at a time when flats and houses were most difficult to get. Harmonious surroundings took the place of loneliness and want.

I never could tell of all the lovely things Science has done for me and mine, but I think I am most grateful for a growing understanding of this great truth, and for the overcoming, if only in a degree, of unpleasant traits of character.
