I have received so much help...
I have received so much help from Christian Science that I should like to pass on to someone else some of the good I have received.
At the time I started studying Christian Science I was a wretched person. I had just passed through a very unhappy experience which had left me feeling extremely sorry for myself. After studying for a few months I was led to go to a different state from the one in which I was living, to a city where I knew absolutely no one, to look for employment. Before starting I knew that I should be guided to my right place. I obtained the first position for which I applied, and it proved to be most harmonious, even to the extent that my employers were members of the Christian Science church in this city.
One day while I was frying doughnuts, I unthinkingly thrust my hand into the boiling grease up to the first knuckle. Instantly I knew the truth that there could be no accidents, and then forgot the incident. When I started to do the dishes that evening the thought came to me that I must not put my hand in the hot water because it would hurt. I looked at it and the burn was absolutely healed, with no sign whatever of the earlier experience.
