That through this testimony someone may profit from my experience in Christian Science, is my only purpose in writing these few lines. My gratitude to Mary Baker Eddy grows daily with my study of her book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Sibyl Wilbur, in her life of our Leader, has enabled me to appreciate the great sacrifices Mrs. Eddy made to give Christian Science to the world.

While on a recent cross-country flight, I crashed in a field. The plane was demolished, but the copilot and I received not a scratch. Divine Love had protected us. People who gathered at the scene of the accident marveled at our escape because a large quantity of high test gasoline covered the ship, and the engine was pushed back into the fuselage almost to where I had been seated. The investigation which took place after the event was conducted without a trace of antagonism or ill feeling.

One night I was returning from practice maneuvers of a simulated glider attack raid over "enemy territory." Our gliders used one runway and the tow planes used another. We had dropped our tow line and were gliding down to our dimly lighted runway when out of the darkness the brilliant landing lights of a power plane glared into our cockpit. I flashed my flashlight in its direction, for all material evidence indicated a midair collision. Another glider on our left endangered our position, and we had not yet reached the landing strip.
