Excerpts from Letters Concerning Christian Science Wartime Activities
[From the Mother of a Liberated Prisoner of War]
Thank you for your letter concerning the rescue of my son from Camp No. 1, Luzon. We all continue to give thanks to our heavenly Father for His protecting care and guidance not only for our boy but for the brave Rangers and five hundred and thirteen prisoners who went through those miles of Japanese infested grounds without a shot fired at them. It has reminded all of us of the miracle of the Red Sea. God, I'm sure, held the enemy back. Our prayers and those of our church members have been answered.
