In the first six months of 1945 there are twenty-five instead of the usual twenty-six Sundays and consequently the Lesson "Christian Science," which is generally the last Lesson-Sermon in June, comes on July 1. Therefore, in accord with the instructions of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, that "the Communion shall be observed in the branch churches on the second Sunday in January and July of each year" (Church Manual, Art. XVIII, Sect. 2), the Lesson "Sacrament" in July of this year will precede the Lesson "God."
