I wish to express my gratitude...

I wish to express my gratitude to God for Christian Science. I had been brought up in an orthodox church and believed in everlasting punishment; I had been a regular attendant at church services, and had helped in church work, trying to practice the Golden Rule the best I knew how. I was constantly trying to learn more about God. I had been very healthy, but began to be discouraged and despondent, so much so that I suffered from severe headaches, indigestion, and constipation. At this time some Christian Science literature was given to me by a friend, and I borrowed Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy from a Reading Room and read it constantly. I also began to attend church services. As a result of this study I was completely healed of headaches, indigestion, and constipation.

I have continued to study and apply Christian Science in my everyday life, and I can truthfully say it has met my every need. Some time ago I fell and injured my back while at work. The pain was so severe I had to be taken home, and a practitioner was called. The suggestion was so strong that if I were to lie down I should not be able to get up that I walked the floor in pain till the practitioner came. After she was there awhile I was able to lie down, and soon was comfortable. This painful condition was healed without any aids other than the truth about God and man, as taught in Christian Science.

Christian Science has been my only physician for over twenty years, and has helped me to demonstrate that God, good, is the one source of supply and health. I am indeed grateful for this Science, for the literature, the lectures, the Reading Rooms, and indeed for every Christian Science activity.—(Mrs.) Willie F. Vickers, Jacksonville, Florida.
