Christian Science Committee on Publication for Indiana Reports

Mary Baker Eddy writes in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 131), "As aforetime, the spirit of the Christ, which taketh away the ceremonies and doctrines of men, is not accepted until the hearts of men are made ready for it." Fruitage from the work of the office during the past year shows how men's hearts are being made ready for the spirit of Christ.

One of the largest newspapers of the state carries a "Questions and Answers" column. One of its readers asked for a brief biography of Mrs. Eddy's life. The newspaper turned to the office as the best place to get a correct answer, and gratefully published an authorized account.

Eight newspapers of the state published a syndicated article of a prominent physician, which contended that the doctors were using Christian Science every day in their medical practice. Each newspaper was persuaded to publish a correction, pointing out that Christian Science heals by the divine Mind, not the human mind.
