I have been healed many times through Christian Science treatment, and by reading the textbook. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I am very grateful indeed to God for the revelation of divine Love's ever-presence and omnipotence.

My introduction to Christian Science came with the healing of extreme nervousness caused by frustration and discontent, the result of a faulty concept of life and its purposes. This healing was not rapid, since it was necessary for me, little by little, to learn to put God first in all my activities and desires. Throughout this time, however, I was sustained by a deep new sense of satisfaction, a conviction that in Christian Science I had at last found the "pearl of great price" (Matt. 13:46).

In the period which has elapsed since that time, I have been healed of influenza (through absent treatment only, the practitioner being over four hundred miles away), aching teeth, severe head colds, which formerly had troubled me all through the winter months, and various problems of employment and disposition. I am especially grateful for the overcoming of a morbid disposition and also a wasteful tendency toward daydreaming.
