At the time of his reappointment at the Annual Meeting in June, Lieutenant Colonel Robert Ellis Key, C.S.B., who for the past eight years has served as Committee on Publication for the counties in which London (England) is situated and as District Manager of Committees on Publication for Great Britain and Ireland, expressed a desire to retire from these activities as of December 31st. This will enable him to devote his time more fully to the healing practice and to his work as a teacher of Christian Science.

Colonel Key's resignation from these offices has been accepted by The Christian Science Board of Directors with sincere regret and deep appreciation of the selfless, loving, and efficient service he has given to the Christian Scientists in Great Britain and Ireland and to The Mother Church.

Colin Rücker Eddison, C.S. B., of London, England, has been appointed by The Christian Science Board of Directors to fill the office vacated by Colonel Key, and as provided in the Manual of The Mother Church, Article XXXIII, Section 3, he will serve as Committee on Publication for the counties in which London (England) is located, and as District Manager of Committees on Publication in Great Britain and Ireland, beginning January 1, 1945.
