Recently a story in your valued paper called attention to a local stage entertainment featuring "ghosts, spirits, and haunted houses."

The name of Mary Baker Eddy, as well as other prominent individuals, was linked with the show's producer in a manner which might indicate that Mrs. Eddy was a believer in occultism or in spiritualism; also, that she approved of such by endorsing an individual claiming to produce "manifestations from the spookie land," as the news item termed it.
