I should like to give my testimony to the glory of God. From the bottom of my heart I thank Him for leading me to Christian Science, for I was healed through it. I am especially grateful for the spiritual understanding I have gained of the truth about God and man.

About nine years ago I became ill, emaciated, weak, and melancholy. In a sanatorium in the province of Cordoba, to which my brother took me, I recovered somewhat at first, but I was always very depressed. One morning I had such an attack of dizziness that I fell down. A nurse put me back in bed. For several days I suffered from severe stomach pains and diarrhea, which so weakened me that I wished only to die.

When my brother and my son came to visit me and saw my condition they decided to take me home so that I might die there. The melancholia continued, and I often thought of putting an end to my life.
