With much gratitude to God I...
With much gratitude to God I submit this testimony, hoping that it may help others who are suffering as I was.
I became interested in Christian Science more than twenty-five years ago, when all medical remedies had failed. After one treatment from a practitioner I was healed of epilepsy. I also have been healed of asthma, stomach trouble, an alarming kidney condition, and many other physical ailments. Christian Science has healed me of loneliness and grief, caused by the passing on of loved ones. At times when the way has seemed dark and stormy, the shadows have lifted as I thanked God for the truth that makes men free, and for His loving care and protection.
I can never cease to be grateful for Mrs. Eddy's faithful work; for the practitioners; for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church; for class instruction from a loving and able teacher; for the Bible and for Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I am very grateful for Christian Science, and for what it is doing for mankind.—(Mrs.) Emalne Sexton Carpenter, Dayton Ohio.
