The Decisive Man

Practically every individual wants to be decisive in thought and word and deed, but all too often we find ourselves swinging like a pendulum between two or more courses of action.

Hear these two dynamic declarations by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science (No and Yes, p. 25): "God is All-in-all; but He is definite and individual, the omnipresent and omniscient Mind;" and (Unity of Good, p. 49): "I believe in the individual man, for I understand that man is as definite and eternal as God, and that man is coexistent with God, as being the eternally divine idea."

When understood, these statements can put an end to all indecision. God is definite, and man is as definite as God. Man, the outcome of God, is never in the valley of indecision; he is ever on the mountaintop of decisive thought and action. This is the man you really are, and Christian Science reveals to you that you are that man.
