Where Happiness Springs

Happiness belongs to man. Instinctively he knows this and reaches toward it. But he fails in attainment because he seeks gladness in the realm of the fleeting.

He may love praise for his accomplishments and believe that bliss comes from adulation. For a time he may be satisfied, but at length the fountains which feed his intoxication dry at their source and he can no longer quench his thirst.
