I wish to express my heartfelt thanks for Christian Science and the loving practitioner who, in one treatment, restored me to health and a normal life after several years of intense suffering from a severe stomach condition. I had consulted many doctors in the East and had been given many kinds of medical treatment. About five years ago, in the middle of the night, an ulcer broke in my stomach. The loss of blood was so great that a doctor who was hastily called said he could call an ambulance but that I could not live to reach the hospital. He gave me a hypodermic injection to quiet me and left, saying he would return at daylight.

My twenty-two year old son was alone with me, and as he watched me he felt that my life was all but gone. I was unconscious the entire time.
