A few years ago I realized that the individual application of Christian Science was my only salvation. In an article in the Christian Science Sentinel I found the Bible verse, "Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee." I turned wholeheartedly to the study of our textbooks, the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, in an effort to acquaint myself with God and obtain peace of mind, knowing that only by so doing would good come into my experience.

During my mental struggle friends stood by me, and I am humbly and deeply grateful for their every word of help and encouragement. Many blessings came to me through this period of study which could have come about in no other way.

I have had numerous healings through applying spiritual truths to erroneous physical conditions. For a period of many months I suffered from a distressing rash under my arms. I began to see it as a result of irritation in my thought. This brought temporary relief, and one day the angel message came that the kingdom of God was within me and therefore nothing but good could be manifested. I talked this over with a practitioner, and she approved my line of reasoning. The healing of this condition has been very helpful to me.
