Many times I have encountered problems which seemed impossible of solution. In each case, however, when I turned unreservedly to Christian Science, I have found the harmonious solution immediately. It has been demonstrated to me over and over again that it is the declaration of the truth that man is the harmonious son of God, and that nothing can prevent him from reflecting God, which heals.

I should like to tell of two healings of criticism. While I was attending a training school which was being organized, we were made to do many things which outraged our sense of rightness to the point that all criticized the way we were treated, and everything in general about the organization. This criticism rose to a great crescendo of talk, resulting later in many cases of cold, influenza, and so forth.

One afternoon, while I was in a Christian Science Reading Room, working on another problem, there came to my notice an article in one of our publications on criticism. It brought out the point that to criticize was to question God's allness, and it likened criticism to adultery, sin, and other evils. It became clear to me that if I was keeping such company, I should get rid of it; also that I would not under any circumstances deny God's allness.
