I wish to express gratitude to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for the religion she has revealed to us. I am profoundly grateful to God for all that Christian Science has done for me.

Although I had studied this Science for several years, and always found it "a very present help in trouble," I had not applied it to cases usually requiring surgery.

I had a growth on my head for many years, which had twice been operated on unsuccessfully. One day the unfoldment of what true substance is came clearly to my consciousness, and eliminated a false belief that substance is an accumulation of material possessions. My sense of security in personal property vanished, and the nature of spiritual substance was revealed. Immediately the growth came completely off, and this healing has been permanent.

A friend, who was visiting me at that time, became interested in the study of Christian Science and has since been healed of the smoking habit.

I am grateful that all who touch the hem of Christ's garment are completely healed by it.—(Mrs.) Frances Levine, Hollywood, California.
