In appreciation of the many blessings I have had in Christian Science I should like to submit the following testimony. Our little daughter had scarlet fever, and after her restoration through the help of a devoted Christian Science practitioner, I began to manifest the same trouble in a more severe form. I felt that I should have a practitioner help me, so my husband called one who was, however, too busy to take the case and advised him to call another. He did not call one, for he felt I was getting along all right.

My parents, who were not interested in Science, came to see us, and voiced so much error that I was fearful and became worse. The next day I began to reason it all out. I said to myself: "Who or what am I listening to, God or mortal mind? I am not under a medical law that says I must go through certain stages of disease before I can be well. I am under God's law." After thinking along these lines I was soon free. I have been grateful for this healing experience because it has helped me many times since.

Another demonstration was that of restoring harmony in our family. To anyone going through a similar experience I can truly say that, while it may not be an easy one, it can be proved that God is the only power and attraction. By holding fast to God and acknowleging no personal attraction, right will win.
