I am very happy to tell of my first healing in Christian Science.

Ten years ago I was suffering from goiter. I had been operated upon twice for this, and the third time the trouble appeared the heart seemed much involved. I was extremely nervous, and so filled with fear I could scarcely go downtown for medical treatment.

At this time a friend gave me a pamphlet on Christian Science to read. In that pamphlet was an article that had to do with the allness of God, good. The statements made were so logical that they appealed to my reasoning. Other Science articles were given me to read, and the more I read the more I wanted to read. Finally I went to the Reading Room, borrowed a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, bought the Quarterly, and began studying the Lesson-Sermon. Before long an interesting thing occurred. I sold some insurance, and my commission was just the amount needed to buy the Bible and Science and Health I wanted.
