Information for American Servicemen and Servicewomen Overseas

Relatives and friends are asked to co-operate in having the following information reach Americans in the service overseas:

In Great Britain, Northern Ireland, and in the Middle East, where Christian Science Officiating Ministers are attached to the British forces, any American serviceman may, through his own regimental chaplain, ask for and obtain the free services of one of these British Ministers if one is available. The Minister may not be able to call unsolicited on Americans, although he desires to aid them, and for this reason they should be encouraged to seek the help which they need.

Many chaplains of denominations other than ours have encouraged our men to conduct their own Christian Science services and have requested Christian Science literature for their use. The Manager of Camp Welfare Activities is now in touch with more than thirty such groups holding Christian Science services on islands in the South Pacific, in Alaska, Iceland, Newfoundland, North Africa, and India.
