Preservation
An old English proverb of common sense tells us that "prevention is better than cure." Christian Science includes and uses both the preventive and the curative arts, and the more we can practice the former the less shall we have to rely upon the latter. Not only does this apply to health and to forestalling the false beliefs which would rob us of this priceless possession, but the preventive art is particularly valuable also in overcoming the sense of danger.
Christian Science teaches the simple fact of the allness of God, divine Principle, Love, the only Mind. Principle is eternally governing all reality through divine law; Love is always blessing and protecting all its children; Mind imparts all intelligence and spiritual ideas.
Students of Christian Science are proving step by step that government by divine Principle is forever established; and they are grateful for the unfolding of good, even the kingdom of heaven in their experience, which comes in the measure of their spiritual understanding of divine law.
