For many years Christian Science has been my only physician and my great Comforter, and I wish to express my gratitude for this religion of Love.

During some twenty-five years I have experienced many and varied healings. Appendicitis was healed in a short time, and I was back at work in about one week. This healing occurred when I was a young student in Christian Science. Soon after this, unsightly liver spots which covered much of my body and neck disappeared. I had accepted this difficulty as hereditary, for my father told me that he had always had them, and that he was sorry I was so troubled. When the practitioner was told about this, she lovingly explained to me my relation to God and said that I could inherit only good. In later years limitations of every sort were overcome, as were sorrow and grief, when I was willing to listen for God's voice only.

The daily study of our Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and all the authorized literature, is of great value to me. Membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, class instruction, and the privilege of serving in a small way in church activities, all these are helping me to press on and to demonstrate that "the tabernacle of God is with men." I am grateful for our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and for our Way-shower, Christ Jesus. My daily prayer is that I may be worthy to be called a Christian Scientist.—(Mrs.) Freda B.
